Preheat oven to 325 degrees
Mix together the cake mix (dry), 1 egg (slightly beaten), 1 stick butter (melted) & the almond extract. This will form a dough that you will press into a 9x13 inch glass pan lined with parchment paper.
In separate bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy, add 2 eggs (beaten slightly), vanilla, and I stick of butter (melted) until well blended. Add the powered sugar, a little at a time, until all the sugar is incorporated into the cream cheese mixture.
Pour the cream cheese mixture into the pan on top of the cake mix layer.
Bake in oven about 40 min until the top is cracked and browned.
Best when cooled first. Cut into bars and chow down!
