My flavor inspiration was Turtles chocolates and I wanted to make a chewy on the outside, fudgy on the inside chocolate cookie studded with toffee and pecan pieces.

Strawberry Muffins

  • 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 3/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup chopped strawberries


1. Preheat oven to 375. Oil muffin tin or use paper liners.

2. In small bowl combine oil, milk and egg. Beat lightly.

3. In large bowl mix flour, salt, baking powder and sugar. Toss in strawberries and stir gently to coat with flour. Pour in milk mixture and stir together.

4. Fill muffin cups. Bake at 375 for 25 minutes or till tops bounce back. Cool 10 minutes. Remove from pan.
