Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Of Real Sugar
  • 1 1/2 Cup Hot Water ( I Use Bottled Water)
  • 2 Tablespoons Of NESCAFE'
  • 2 Tablespoons Arrowroot
  • 2 Tablespoon Of Cold Water
  • 2 Tablespoons Of MAZOLA Margarine
  • 1/4 cup Dark Rum

Instructions

Pour Sugar Into Heavy Skillet. Melt Sugar Over Low Heat, Stirring Constantly, Until Melted And Golden. Combine Hot Water And NESCAFE' Pour Slowly And Carefully Over Melted Sugar. ( Be Careful Melted Sugar Is Very Hot) Stir Frequently Until Sugar Is Completely Dissolved In Hot NESCAFE' About 15 Minutes. Combine Arrowroot With Cold Water, Stir Into Sauce. Continue Cooking Stirring Constantly Until Sauce Is Thickened And Smooth. Add MAZOLA Margarine And Rum; Stir Until Margarine Is Melted ~ I Serve Mine Over Warm Southern Bread Pudding~ Or Ice Cream ~ Enjoy!
