French Toast

  • 4 slices bread
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 banana
  • 1 quart blueberries
  • Vegetable oil
  • Maple syrup


In a bowl, mix together eggs, milk, vanilla, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt with a whisk. Pour mixture into a deep dish or pan. Place bread in mixture and let sit until bread is saturated. Flip bread to ensure both sides are fully covered. Heat frying pan with oil over medium-high heat. Carefully place saturated bread slices into pan. Cook for a couple of minutes on each side until toast is golden and firm. Garnish with banana slices, and caramelized blueberries.
