French-style crepes served with salted caramel fudge pieces. So easy to make and the fudge is even made in the microwave! Why don't you try serving the crepes warm and try with my recipe for salted caramel ice cream, serve with bananas and crumble the fudge pieces over the top, simply divine.
To make the crepes, get a large mixing bowl and whisk together the eggs, milk, butter, flour, sugar and salt until smooth and creamy. Brush the butter on a skillet or crepe pan on medium heat using a brush. Using a ladle, spoon about 3 tablespoons of the crepe batter into the pan, tilt the pan so the batter evenly coats the surface, the crepes will take about 1 to 2 minutes on each side.
Now for the caramel fudge pieces.
Line a 8x8 baking pan with parchment paper. Combine the chocolate chips and the can of condensed milk in a microwavable bowl. Stir it together and microwave for 30 seconds. Stir for 30 seconds. Microwave for 15 seconds. Stir for 30 seconds. Continue the process until melted and smooth. Stir in the vanilla extract. Pour into the baking pan. Smooth over the top surface and make it neat. Now combine the caramel sweets and the heavy cream in another bowl and microwave for 30 seconds, stir for 30 seconds and repeat until melted. Pour the caramel over the chocolate to make a nice two-toned layer of chocolate and caramel. Top the fudge with some sea salt, cut into your desired portions and enjoy!
