Cookies and Cream Cheesecake Mice

These adorable and festive mice will no doubt be the life of the party tray! Delicious to devour and fun to prepare...what's not to like! Your guests will nibble nibble like a mouse until they disappear.

Ingredients

  • INGREDIENTS
  • 4 chocolate cream filled cookies
  • 1/2 package (4 ounce size) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/3 cup nonfat dry milk
  • 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 20 Hershey's Kisses
  • 40 Almond Slices
  • 20 Pink flat round candies for nose
  • 1/2 cup White Icing
  • 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 20 Maraschino Cherries with Stems, drained and patted dry
  • 1 Black Food Colour marker

Instructions

Place cookies in a food processor; process until fine crumbs form.
Beat cream cheese, dry milk and vanilla in a medium bowl with an electric mixer at medium speed until smooth. Beat in confectioners' sugar on low speed until mixture is smooth. Stir in cookies crumbs.
Refrigerate 2 hours or until firm. Shape the chilled mixture around each cherry to form a ball. Melt chocolate chips and dip cherry ball to cover
Attach Hershey kiss to each ball while chocolate is still wet. Place 2 almond slices for ears and add white icing eyes dabbed with black marker for pupils.
Let dry. Store in airtight container in the refrigerator.
