Cajun Pasta

Description

Cajun pasta has always been one of my all-time favorite pasta dishes but it is hard to find without chicken or shrimp. I created this recipe for delightful vegetarian cajun pasta with a butter sauce rather than the common creamy sauce.

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces linguine, cooked al dente
  • 2 teaspoons cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

Cook pasta until desired texture
Mix butter, salt, basil, black pepper, garlic powder, and cajun seasoning in a small bowl.
After pasta is done cooking, melt seasoning in a small frying pan until liquid
Pour sauce onto pasta and serve
