Indulge in my recipe for double-battered fries, thick, chunky and seasoned to perfection, all in 15 minutes or less; perfect with ketchup, mayo or my own hot sauce!
First we cut the potatoes into wedge-style slices. Nice and thick slices. Pop the raw wedges into a deep fat fryer for 5 minutes. Let them rest and cool down.
Mix together the flour, salt and pepper. In a separate bowl, mix the milk, eggs, salt and pepper and whisk.
Dredge and cover the chips in the flour bowl then into the egg wash. Repeat for all potato chips then once finished, place back in the deep fat fryer for a minute and a half. And we're done.
