Basic Tomato Sauce

It's grown over the years and been changed by every one who has tasted it.


  • 4 Large fresh tomatoes
  • 1 red onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • bouillon
  • Worcester sauce
  • tomato paste
  • 1-2 fresh chillies
  • brown sugar/honey
  • an oxo cube (optional)
  • mince (optinional)
  • Quorn mince (optional)


Chop onions into really small cubes, garlic and tomtoes too.

Add onions to the pan (and drizzle honey over), fry till soft ( add mince now, and brown).
Add garlic to pan and fry, add a dash of Worcester sauce, oxo cube, boullion (half a teaspoon),
tomato paste(teaspoon), the chopped chillies, and if using sugar two teaspoons of sugar dusted over the top.

Stir together and allow to simmer for a while.
