Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 1/4 Cup Maple Syrup
  • 4 Tablespoon Butter
  • 2Teaspoon Salt
  • 1Cup Cooked Pumpkin, Drained And Mashed
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoon Dry Yeast
  • 1/4 Cup Warm Water
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Honey
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Teaspoon Grated Orange Peel
  • 61/2 Cup Flour (Approximately)
  • Melted Butter To Brush

Instructions

In A Saucepan, Heat The Milk Until Bubbles Appear Around The Edge.Stir In The Maple Syrup, Butter, Salt And Pumpkin. Mix Well. Take The Pan Off The Stove And Let The Mixture Sit Until It Is Lukewarm.
In Large Bowl, Dissolve The Yeast In Warm Water With The Honey. When It Is Bubbly, Add The Cooled Pumpkin-Milk Mixture, Eggs, Orange Peel, And 21/2 Cups Of Flour.
Beat This Mixture With An Electric Mixer For 2 Minutes Or Beat With A Wooden Spoon For At Least 200 Strokes,

Gradually Add More Flour Until The Dough Pulls Away From The Side Of The Bowl And Gets Stiff Enough To Form Into A Ball That You Can Knead. Then Knead On A Floured Surface Until Dough Is Smooth And Elastic. Put In Buttered Mixing Bowl.

Turn So That Dough Is Coated With Butter. Cover With Plastic Wrap And Leave In A Warm Spot To Rise~When Dough Is Doubled, Punch It Down. Knead Lightly On floured Surface. Cut Dough Into Pieces About The Size Of An Egg. Cover And Let Rest For 10 To 15 Minutes. Spread Butter In Muffin Tins And Place Rolls Inside. Brush The Tops With Melted Butter. Cover With Plastic Wrap And Let rise Again For About 1/2 Hour- Not Quite Doubled This Time.

Preheat Oven To 375 Degrees While They Are Rising. Bake For 15 Minutes : )
